First botox in my fifties, terrified of looking frozen

I’ve just turned 52 and am finally considering botox for the first time. I’ve been devoted to skincare for ages, but those forehead lines seem to have a mind of their own. I’m genuinely worried about that dreaded frozen look we all want to avoid. How subtle can results really be, and what should I look for to ensure it looks natural? Would love to hear some real experiences.

I totally get the fear of looking frozen, but I promise it doesn’t have to be that way. When I first started with Botox a few years ago, I was nervous too, but my injector is amazing at keeping it natural and soft. Just make sure to communicate what you want, it can really make a difference.

I totally get the nervousness, but honestly, if you find a good injector who listens to your goals, you can always start slow and see how you look. I love that you’re cautious about looking frozen, it’s all about subtle enhancements at this stage.

I felt the same way before my first time, it’s natural to worry.

i get that, i’m kinda nervous too about it looking unnatural

I totally get where you’re coming from, the fear of looking frozen is legit, but I’ve found that choosing an experienced injector who understands natural expressions makes all the difference. I started with smaller doses around my eyes and forehead, and now I get compliments on how refreshed I look without any stiffness. It’s all about communication and easing into it slowly, you can always add more later if needed.
