I had some filler injected under my eyes a while back, and I thought I’d look like a fresh-faced 40-year-old, but here I am, 67 and looking like a raccoon instead! 
I’ve been reading about filler migration and how it can happen, and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced it and had the filler dissolved. Did it help? I really want to hear about your experiences before I take the plunge!
I had filler under my eyes a couple years ago and noticed some slight migration to the outer corners, which made the area look puffy instead of refreshed. I had it dissolved with hyaluronidase, and while it took a couple sessions, it made a huge difference. The dissolving process was a little uncomfortable but not unbearable, and afterward, my skin looked much smoother and less swollen. Is that silly that I waited so long to do it? I just wasn’t sure if dissolving was worth it at first.
I think dissolving fillers is usually straightforward but sometimes hard to get right the first time, especially if the migration is old or not very obvious. I had some under my eyes once and it took a couple of treatments to smooth it out completely. If you’re thinking about it, make sure your doctor is experienced with the dissolving agents they use
i haven’t had any issues with filler migration myself, but I’ve heard that dissolving it can be pretty effective if you’re not happy.
