Coolsculpting versus lipo for the lower belly after menopause

I’ve been struggling with this stubborn pouch around my lower belly ever since menopause hit, and no amount of diet or exercise seems to make a dent. I’m considering either Coolsculpting or liposuction to get rid of it, but I’m worried about recovery time and whether one is actually more effective than the other for this age and body type. Has anyone over 50 gone through either procedure for this specific issue? How do the results compare, and was the downtime manageable?

I’ve tried CoolSculpting myself and it definitely took a few sessions to notice a difference, but I loved that there was no downtime at all. I think lipo can be more immediate but also more invasive and costly. It really depends if you’re okay with a quick procedure versus a few months of gradual change.
